• Summer’s Traditional Curriculum Schedule

    June 30, 2019 | News North West
  • Beginning in July, we will be following a new schedule rotation on traditional WI-MAFC nights so each part of the curriculum that students are required to know at their belt promotions receives equal attention during classes.

The schedule is organized by topic and week and will be followed by both North and West locations. For example, if 'forms' is one of the topics for a given week, you can expect a portion of class to be devoted to forms on any curriculum night on either side of town for that whole week (Note: this does not affect BJJ nights).

The schedule for the remainder of the summer is attached to this page and will be posted around the schools.  Click on the image to see a larger version. By publishing this schedule in advance, we intend to keep you informed and better able to learn during class. This will require you to look ahead on the schedule and properly review and prepare. If it is a sparring week, make sure to bring your sparring gear. Same with weapons on weapons week.

You are also responsible for reviewing material you have previously learned through our online videos. If you see that one of the focuses of the week is line drills 4-6, please review the videos or your notes so instructors do not need to re-teach you old things.

Again, this schedule organization is to bring better balanced teaching to you and to let you know what to expect on our non-BJJ nights. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or talk to any instructor.
